Curriculum development aims to advance education, curriculum also considers the characteristics of students, because each individual has various differences. Individual differences that need be considered in learning process are basic skills, talents, interests, speed, and styles children. Each a style can influenced by several factors. Students at PGRI University West Sumatra have different characteristics, one which is style. This study determine factors influence it. research was conducted using descriptive analysis with qualitative methods, meaning results data collection for distributing questionnaires, them supported literature review. The obtained percentage students' visual 84.85% good criteria, audio 78.79% kinesthetic 74.49% enough criteria. genetic environmental factors, consist school, family community.
